We are delighted to have been awarded Best Paper at the 19th International Conference on Design Science Research in Information Systems and Technology (DESRIST 2024). The paper "Designing an LLM-based Open Data Assistant for Effective Use" by Till Carlo Schelhorn, Ulrich Gnewuch and Alexander Maedche from the human-centered systems lab (h-lab) present meta-requirements and propose initial design principles on how to design a Large Language Model based open data assistant for effective use. Subsequently, the principles are instantiated in a prototype and evaluated in a focus group with experts from a medium-sized German city.
